The Confederated Empire of Bir Tawil and Territories is a self-governing Imperial entity established through its Declaration of Independence on 2 November 2020.

The Empire maintains its own constitutional order, Imperial Crown, government institutions, ministries, offices, laws, archives, diplomatic structures, educational institutions, commercial enterprises, and programs of cultural, humanitarian, scientific, and exploratory activity.

The official website of the Confederated Empire serves as the public publication and administrative portal of the Imperial Government. Imperial laws, constitutional 

documents, decrees, appointments, diplomatic instruments, historical records, institutional information, and official publications are maintained and made available through this site.

The Empire's governing framework is established through its Constitution and Imperial Code. The Imperial Code provides for the organization of the Imperial Government, ministries, Crown, judiciary, treasury, commerce, diplomatic institutions, and other organs of Imperial administration.

The Imperial Crown serves as the central institution of sovereignty, unity, continuity, and constitutional authority within the Imperial system.

The Confederated Empire of Bir Tawil and Territories asserts its sovereignty and maintains that sovereignty through its continuing constitutional order, institutions, administration, and exercise of its internal authority.

The Empire recognizes the distinction between sovereignty as asserted by the Imperial Government and international recognition by other states.

The Confederated Empire is not presently a member of the United Nations and does not claim universal diplomatic recognition from the world's established states.

This does not prevent the Empire from maintaining its constitutional institutions, conducting foreign relations, establishing missions, preserving its archives, developing its economy, educating its citizens, conducting research and exploration, or continuing the development of its governmental institutions.

The Empire's international status remains a matter of continuing development and differing views among political authorities. The Imperial Government therefore seeks to present its position through official documents, transparent records, lawful conduct, and continuing institutional development.

The Empire's identity is not limited to its presence on the Internet.

The Internet is one means through which the Imperial Government communicates with citizens, researchers, diplomats, organizations, and the public.

The Empire's institutions and activities extend beyond this website.

The Imperial Government maintains constitutional and legal documents, official appointments, ministries, diplomatic offices, archives, educational programs, commercial structures, cultural initiatives, research programs, expeditionary projects, and other institutions established under Imperial authority.

The website documents these institutions; it does not constitute them.

The Constitution of the Confederated Empire establishes the fundamental principles of Imperial government, rights, administration, and the relationship between the Crown and the Imperial people.

The Imperial Code provides the Empire's principal body of codified law and includes provisions concerning the Imperial Government, ministries, Crown, Legions, Treasury, commerce, citizenship, diplomacy, and public administration.

The Imperial Chancellery maintains official records of Imperial legislation, decrees, appointments, charters, correspondence, and other instruments of government.

The Confederated Empire maintains an organized foreign-relations program dedicated to peaceful communication, cultural exchange, humanitarian cooperation, research, friendship, and dialogue with peoples, communities, organizations, and other political entities.

The Empire distinguishes between correspondence, engagement, friendship, and formal diplomatic recognition.

The Empire does not represent correspondence or friendship as formal recognition when such recognition has not been granted.

This principle is reflected in the Empire's diplomatic instruments and foreign missions.

On 11 September 2026, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Bryce L.S.P. Ivrea I established the Imperial Foreign Mission to the People of Chiapas by Imperial Charter.

The Charter appointed His Grace the Duke of Huitepec W. W. Hathaway Maccoby, OMS, as Head of Mission.

The Mission was established for peaceful cultural exchange, humanitarian cooperation, communication, research, and engagement with persons or representatives associated with the People of Chiapas and local Indigenous communities where such engagement is welcomed.

The Mission operates subject to applicable Mexican law and expressly does not claim that its establishment creates diplomatic recognition, treaty relations, territorial jurisdiction, consular status, or extraterritorial authority.

The Mission therefore represents a continuing example of the Empire's developing foreign-relations institutions.

The Empire also maintains commercial institutions associated with its broader economic and development programs.

Provance Holdings, LLC is a United States limited liability company established by His Imperial Majesty and designated within the Imperial constitutional and 

administrative order as an Imperial Company.

The Imperial record recognizes the Company's relationship to the Imperial Crown and to His Imperial Majesty personally while expressly recognizing that the Company retains its separate legal personality under United States law.

The Empire distinguishes its internal Imperial designation of an enterprise from the domestic legal status imposed by the jurisdiction in which that enterprise is organized.

Citizenship provides individuals with an opportunity to participate in the continuing development of the Confederated Empire.

Imperial citizens may participate in government, ministries, education, cultural programs, diplomatic initiatives, research, exploration, humanitarian projects, publications, and other Imperial activities.

Citizenship is understood by the Imperial Government as participation in the life and development of the Empire rather than merely enrollment on an online registry.

The Empire maintains programs dedicated to education, statecraft, history, diplomacy, leadership, administration, exploration, research, environmental activities, humanitarian service, and cultural preservation.

The Imperial Academy and other educational initiatives seek to develop citizens capable of serving the Empire through government, diplomacy, administration, scholarship, and other fields.

The Imperial Expeditionary Corps and flagship projects such as Operation Poseidon and Operation Osiris pursue research, exploration, historical and cultural study, environmental work, and opportunities for lawful humanitarian assistance.

The Imperial Archives preserve the continuing documentary record of the Empire.
