Imperial citizenship represents membership in the civic community of the Confederated Empire of Bir Tawil and Territories.
It is an opportunity to become more deeply involved in the life and development of the Empire, its institutions, its historical archives, and its ongoing projects.
Citizens are encouraged to contribute according to their individual abilities, interests, and circumstances.

Imperial citizenship is a status established within the constitutional and administrative framework of the Confederated Empire of Bir Tawil and Territories.
It does not automatically replace, revoke, or alter an individual's citizenship or nationality in another country.
Applicants should continue to comply with the laws and citizenship requirements of the country or countries in which they hold recognized nationality or citizenship.
Imperial citizenship should therefore be understood as membership in the Empire's own civic community, rather than as a substitute for citizenship recognized by another sovereign state.
